Isoka / Muyombe convention

A fervent Preacher that went to Isoka and Muyombe

In times past, through divers’ ways and at different moments, God spoke to our fathers through His prophets. But in these final days, He has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. With unwavering resolve, the Lord seeks to spread the gospel to the farthest reaches of the earth so that many might be saved. He has sent forth His true and faithful servants, genuine ministers of the Word, to labour in this divine mission before the end comes. These are preachers who deeply understand the gravity of the gospel and the profound cost of salvation, entrusted with the sacred task of delivering the only path to eternal life to every human soul.

Carriers of Salvation: The Gospel’s Journey Through Peril and Sacrifice

For centuries, preachers of the gospel have travailed and laboured through unimaginable hardships to bring the message of salvation to the lost. The gospel, dripping with the Lord’s blood, did not come without a price. It has journeyed through stormy seas and shipwrecks, carried by men who faced hunger, thirst, and peril at every turn. Clothed in little more than sheepskins and goatskins, they endured the biting cold of rejection, the scorching heat of persecution, and the weight of a world often hostile to the truth they bore.

Yet, through it all, they pressed forward – undaunted by danger, unmoved by the threat of death – driven by a divine calling. They carried the gospel to distant lands, from forsaken villages to mighty cities, knowing that it was the power of God unto salvation. Through their sacrifice, the gospel has been passed from hand to hand, heart to heart, and nation to nation, with every step echoing the blood-stained path that our Saviour Jesus Christ Himself walked.

They have poured out their lives so that others might know the way of eternal life, and today, the gospel continues its journey, reaching the lost, one soul at a time.

God commissions Apostle Richard Kangwa to go back to Isoka

In May 2023, the Lord commissioned His servant, Apostle Richard Kangwa, to return to the distant town of Isoka. Though far from the cities, Isoka was not hidden from God’s sight, for He had many souls destined for salvation there. The gospel must reach every corner of the earth before the end comes, and Isoka was no exception. The previous year, 2022, during the dedication of a church under Harvest Time Ministry International (Liberty Temple), where the guest preacher, Pastor Gideon Byekwaso, delivered the sermon, Apostle Kangwa witnessed many surrender their lives to Christ. The mighty power of God was revealed, and the people, hungry for more truth, eagerly awaited the return of such a divine encounter.

During that first dedication, approximately 85 souls were officially recorded as having been baptized, though eyewitnesses claimed the number surpassed 100. So overwhelming was the response that many ministers assisted in carrying out the baptisms, as the sheer number of souls ready for salvation was beyond expectation.

Obedient to the call, Apostle Kangwa answered the Lord’s commission, setting out once again to Isoka, specifically Kawenga Village, on 10th May 2023. For four days, he held meetings, preaching the gospel with boldness and praying for the sick. So great was the anticipation that people began gathering as early as 12:30 p.m., though the meetings were scheduled to start at 14:00 p.m., eager to receive from God’s vindicated servant.

“A Divine Harvest Begins: Souls gave their lives to the Lord Jesus”

On the very first day, a remarkable seven (7) souls responded to the altar call and gave their lives to the Lord. The heavens rejoiced, for if there is joy in heaven over one soul saved, how much more over seven! By the second day, another three (3) souls were added to the kingdom.

On the third day, a Friday, thirteen (13) Souls surrendered their lives to the Lord in a powerful service. In biblical times, baptisms took place even at midnight, as in the story of the jailer and his family who were baptised by St. Paul and St. Silas. Similarly, in Isoka, people were baptised as late as 19:00 p.m., after the meetings had concluded. Even in the cold waters, they remained undeterred, their hearts burning with conviction. Surely, just like in the days of the Bible, another book of Acts is being written.

They paid no mind to the chill, for the warmth of God’s power overshadowed it. Miracles and signs were so evident that they couldn’t help but recognise the same God of the Bible, revealing Himself right in their midst. With hearts pricked by the Spirit, they laid down their lives before the living God, completely transformed by the undeniable display of His might. They received the gospel with great gladness, seeing that same Jesus of Nazareth through His servant and witnessing His power demonstrated without money and without price. Realising the great distance covered just to bring the message of grace to their doorstep, they couldn’t ignore the call of salvation from the Master, Jesus Christ. They gave their lives to the Lord, He who regards not the reputation of man, for He is the God of all creation.

“Apostle Kangwa: Bringing God’s Presence to Isoka”

Isoka Convention
Souls gathering at the altar in repentance during the convention in Isoka.

There was such a powerful presence of God in Isoka that, on one particular day when there was no scheduled service, a soul came forward, eager to be baptised. This remarkable moment echoed the story of the dynamic preacher D.L. Moody, where a similar incident reportedly took place on a public bus. As the bus moved through the city, passengers were going about their daily routine when, suddenly, the palpable presence of the Holy Spirit filled the bus. Without anyone preaching to them directly, several passengers began to weep and repent on the spot. Witnesses to the event were so astonished that one of them remarked, “This can only happen when Moody is in town.”

The idea was that wherever Moody went, the presence of God followed, and miraculous things occurred, even outside formal meetings. In the same way, the unchanging God is performing wonders in our time through Apostle Kangwa, bringing His power and presence to those who seek Him. And one cannot afford to be left out, witnessing the outpouring of God’s power experienced in the town of Isoka.

Then came Sunday, the 14th of May, the final day of the meetings. God continued to vindicate Himself through His servant even more mightily. One may wonder what times we are living in – God is truly gathering His own. Twenty-four (24) souls were baptised on that very day, more than the start of a church. As we have read, the church at Ephesus began with twelve disciples baptised by Apostle Paul.

Isoka was shaken by God’s power, for we are in the end times, and one needs to cleanse their life, repent thoroughly, and be filled with God’s Spirit.

The entire meeting resulted in a total of forty-eight (48) souls. In what time are we living, friend? Surely, these are Bible days. The Gentile dispensation is coming to a close, and one must enter the kingdom, for the coming of the Lord is nearer than we think.

“Miracles in Isoka: Witnessing the God of the Bible Today”

Many were prayed for, countless miracles were encountered, many were healed and delivered, while others were restored. Words could fail – blessings abounded, and others were filled with the Holy Spirit. What a great revival swept through the town of Isoka, with so many testimonies recorded.

During the meetings, a mother came forward with her two-year-old child, who had been crying uncontrollably throughout the services. She shared in the prayer line that this had been happening since birth, and she had been desperate for relief. The servant of the Lord, Apostle Kangwa, prayed over the child, and in an instant, the crying stopped. The Lord set the child free, and his normal life was restored, bringing great joy to the family.

Another powerful testimony was shared by a woman whose son had disappeared into the cities and had not been heard from for ten long years since 2012. During the dedication of Liberty Temple in Isoka in 2022, she brought her burden to the Apostle in the prayer line. With authority, Apostle Kangwa assured her that her son would return. True to the words of the Apostle, the following year, the woman returned to the meetings, overwhelmed with gratitude and tears streaming down her face. Her son had called her, apologised for his disappearance, and pledged to name his child after her. The grace of the Lord had restored her family, and she gave her testimony with deep thanksgiving.

Another lady, who held multiple leadership positions in her congregation, came to witness the power of God firsthand. As the truth of God’s Word was revealed before her eyes, she realised the deception she had been under, particularly the false teachings about “sowing seeds” that she had followed in her church. Convicted by the undeniable truth presented through Apostle Kangwa’s ministry, she made a bold decision to forsake the wrong teachings and relinquish her positions in the church. She chose instead to embrace the truth, no matter the cost, holding firmly to the revelation that had set her free.

The meetings in Isoka concluded with great grace, as the mighty works of the Lord were powerfully manifested. Hearts were transformed, and lives were touched by the undeniable presence of God. The atmosphere was charged with a deep sense of reverence and awe, as souls were saved, healed, and delivered. Testimonies of divine intervention flowed freely, confirming the hand of God at work through His Servant, Apostle Richard Kangwa. Truly, the impact of these meetings will be felt for generations to come, as Isoka witnessed a glorious move of the Spirit, and great was the victory in the Lord

Apostle Richard Kangwa Journeys to Muyombe

For ten long years, Apostle Richard Kangwa carried a deep burden to preach in the land of Muyombe. Despite the burning desire of the Servant of the Lord, the organisers of that time never brought this vision to fruition. Yet, the flame never dimmed in his heart. After a decade of waiting, the Apostle instructed Pastor Boyd Silungwe of Nakonde church that borders Zambia and Tanzania to go and arrange meetings in Muyombe.

Upon his return, Pastor Silungwe gave his report to the Apostle, affirming that while people were indeed there, the road was in an appalling condition. His own journey was filled with fear, as he described moments of terror, certain the vehicle might overturn. Deacons and saints alike echoed similar concerns – accounts of dangerous roads, swarms of mosquitoes, and the absence of proper accommodations.

“Faith Unshaken: Apostle Kangwa’s Steadfast Resolve”

Apostle Kangwa’s heart remained steadfast, undeterred by the reports of danger. His eyes were fixed upon Muyombe, unshaken by the hazards. With resolute faith and determination, he persisted, driven by a holy mandate to bring the gospel to the farthest reaches of the earth. His mission was clear – to bring the light of salvation and deliverance to the people of Muyombe, bound in deep spiritual darkness.

Muyombe, a remote rural community, was infamous for being steeped in witchcraft and engulfed in deep spiritual darkness. Access to the land was only possible via a treacherous road, carved into the side of a perilous hill. A single misstep on this narrow path could send a vehicle careening into a deep ravine. Worse still, it was the rainy season at the time of the journey, and the road’s condition was far worse than anyone could have anticipated. Bridges were submerged, and the already deteriorated roads had become life-threatening.

“Navigating Peril: The Treacherous Road to Muyombe”

The dilapidated road from Isoka to Muyombe in Mafinga District, with the Bemba Bridge submerged in water, becomes even more hazardous during the rainy season. It was only by the grace of God that the Servant of the Lord managed to navigate through it.

The danger was so great that even experienced motorists often refused to cross certain points where bridges lay hidden beneath rising floodwaters. At these treacherous junctures, passengers were forced to abandon their vehicles and wade through the dangerous waters on foot, as drivers sought to protect their vehicles from water entering the exhaust pipes. The road to Muyombe was more than a physical challenge; it was a test of faith, courage, and resolve.

“March of the Faithful”

Apostle Kangwa pressed on with unwavering determination. It was all or nothing. Unshaken by the dangers before him, he marched forward as a disciplined soldier of the cross. There was no turning back. With his Master’s mission engraved in his heart and driven by an unquenchable love for the lost, he forged ahead, crossing a line he had already drawn in the sands of time, a point of no return. The Rubicon was crossed. A gallant warrior, willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of the gospel, he moved forward, with his eyes fixed on the commission of the Lord Jesus Christ. Truly Apostle Kangwa’s is a real missionary.

The moment echoed the words of Apostle Peter at the time of his own crucifixion, when he said, “My only regret is that I don’t have five lives to give for the glory of God.” Apostle Kangwa’s sacrifice mirrored this same devotion – willing to go to a distant, forgotten land, far removed from the comforts of the great cities. It was not for fine food or luxurious accommodations, but for the truth that the same Christ who died for the wealthy also laid down His life for the rural people of Muyombe. It was for them that the Apostle gave his all, driven by the same sacrificial love that defines the heart of the gospel.

“Apostle Kangwa’s Unyielding Zeal for the Lord”

What manner of man is Apostle Kangwa? One may think they know Apostle Richard Kangwa, but he is like a bow of fire that never stops burning for the service of the Lord, Jesus Christ. He is a Holy Spirit-filled preacher who moves like the wind; no one knows where it will come from or where it will go, willing to be led by the Spirit. Apostle Kangwa, a man well known to barely eat during such missions of the Lord, from places as far as Uganda. Not minding the distance, type of place, or the people, but just having that passion for the lost and weary needing comfort in Christ. He has so much zeal for the Lord, like an old mighty warrior of faith, St. Paul of the Bible.

A three-day open air crusade unfolded in the hostile and highly spiritually oppressed land of Muyombe, steeped in witchcraft and bondage. The meetings began quietly on the 14th of May 2023, each day at 17:30 pm, with only a handful of valiant believers who had journeyed with the Apostle on this profound mission. On the first day, as a humble song service filled the air, the atmosphere seemed eerily still, as though only the believers were present, listening intently. The Apostle ascended the pulpit, a makeshift stage mounted on a vehicle, and began preaching the Word.

Though the view appeared barren, devoid of curious onlookers, The sermon delivered was truly extraordinary. It was a powerful message, resonating with authority yet overflowing with compassion – a message of love and hope, aimed at those who had long abandoned hope, those who were distressed, weary, and shackled in spiritual chains. The Word pierced through the invisible barriers, reaching the lost and the bound, as if calling out to unseen hearts in the depths of the night.

As the Apostle’s voice echoed through the village, carried by the wind into the unseen corners of Muyombe, something extraordinary began to happen. Though the darkness had fallen, and the village appeared empty, hidden eyes had been watching and ears had been listening from the shadows. The Word of God, laced with love and unshakable authority, pierced through the veil of fear and spiritual bondage that gripped the land.

One by one, figures began to emerge from the cover of night. At first, it was just a few, their faces hesitant yet drawn by an irresistible force. Soon, more came – men, women, and children – stepping out from behind trees, huts, and the thick brush that had concealed them. They had hidden in fear, bound by the spiritual oppression that had long ruled their lives, but now something powerful was stirring within them. The sermon, spoken as though it was meant for their very souls, called them into the light.

In the flickering glow of lanterns and the distant shimmer of stars, they moved forward some with tears streaming down their faces, others with trembling hands raised in surrender. Each step they took seemed to shed the weight of years spent in spiritual darkness. And there, under the vast, open sky, they began to give their lives to the Lord, casting off the chains that had bound them for so long.

The village, once cloaked in the deep shadows of witchcraft and fear, now resonated with the sweet sound of salvation. Souls were being set free, one after another, as the message of hope and deliverance took hold. An astounding thirty-two (32) souls were baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, right there on the very first night – a powerful testament to the transforming presence of God.

Truly, these are the days the Bible has spoken of – the days of the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God and the great restoration of His people. The meetings in Muyombe became a beacon of light, piercing through the land that had long been steepled in deep witchcraft. For years, no preacher dared to challenge the stronghold of sin openly. Those who tried were swiftly silenced by the wizards who ruled the land’s dark spiritual counsels.

“Apostle Kangwa: The First Voice to Challenge Sin in Muyombe”

In a land filled with traditional churches, yet devoid of the power to confront the forces of darkness, the grip of witchcraft was unyielding. The fear of openly preaching against sin and evil was palpable, and no one dared to challenge it – until one Bible schooler, bold and determined, decided to speak out. His courage, however, was swiftly met with terror.

One night, as he lit a candle in his house, the flame mysteriously flickered and died – snuffed out by unseen hands. Soon enough, the chilling truth became clear: the wizards of the land had come to warn him, mocking his efforts and calling his preaching “childish.” But undeterred, he pressed on. One evening, after another sermon, he went to sleep in his own bed, only to awaken the next morning outside his home, lying on the doorstep, locked out from within. The forces of darkness had sent their message.

Witchcraft had gripped the land with an iron fist, keeping it in bondage, silencing those who tried to resist. And that was the last anyone saw of him, as he fled to the city, never to be seen again. The land, once again, fell silent under the shadow of fear, waiting for the day when true deliverance would come.

But when the Apostle stood to preach, there was no wavering. He boldly declared the Word of God, preaching hard against sin and witchcraft, confronting the very powers that had held the village in chains. The Lord, faithful to His servant, brought great deliverances. Signs and miracles confirmed the message, and the ancient grip of witchcraft was shattered. The power that had once dominated the land was reduced to nothing, as God proved Himself to be above all powers and principalities, reigning supreme in the hearts of those who surrendered to Him. The darkness that had loomed for so long was driven out, and the light of God’s truth illuminated Muyombe like never before.

“God’s Power continued to move in Muyombe through Apostle Kangwa”

The power of God had so saturated the land that even before the meetings began on the second day, a soul came willingly in the morning and surrendered their life to the Lord. Many such instances became common. That day, thirteen (13) souls were baptised – a remarkable testament to the undeniable move of God among the people. But the wonders did not cease there. Waves of deliverance swept through the crowds, transforming lives in ways beyond comprehension, as the presence of God touched the broken, healed the afflicted, and restored the lost.

More souls continued to give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Young boys from the secondary school, long tormented by spiritual wives and bound by years of silent suffering, were finally set free. For the first time in what felt like a lifetime, they returned home and slept peacefully, their spirits released from the invisible chains that had held them captive. The darkness that had overshadowed their lives was lifted in an instant, and the peace they had longed for was finally theirs.

One story, deep and heart-wrenching, stood out – a man who had been bewitched for years. Each morning, he would wake to find his hands and feet mysteriously stained with blood, with no earthly explanation for the horror he faced daily. But the same power of the Lord that healed the woman with the issue of blood in the bible was still alive, mighty, and merciful. Through His servant, Apostle Kangwa, that man was loosed from every power of darkness that had plagued him.

God’s deliverance was evident, a force moving through the crowd with undeniable authority. Miracles poured out like rain on parched soil. Those who had suffered for years with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) were healed instantly, their pain vanishing with a simple touch to the afflicted area, as instructed by the Apostle. Testimonies of freedom from spiritual wives and husbands flooded in. Words fail to fully capture the magnitude of what transpired, but one thing was certain – the strongholds of evil crumbled, one by one, under the overwhelming presence of the Lord. In that place, chains were shattered, and lives were forever changed.

“Clergy Men of Muyombe, The Unseen Faith: When Truth Pierced the Shadows”

The sound of the trumpet of truth was so powerful that even the clergy, hiding in the shadows of the night, were captivated by its echo. Listening in secret, they were astounded by the boldness of the words, for never before had such daring truth been spoken in their midst. Apostle Kangwa’s fearless proclamation cut through the spiritual darkness with a force that left them mesmerised, hearing what their hearts had long yearned for but had never dared to believe.

Apostle Kangwa, with unwavering authority, declared the message of deliverance, and one such clergyman, deeply moved, could not resist the power he felt. Though unwilling to step into the light himself, he sent his ailing child through the prayer line, hoping for the miracle his heart secretly longed for. This child, who had suffered for years hearing a voice telling her to run off whenever she reached home, was instantly delivered through the power of God. The very words that had shaken the clergyman from his hiding place had now brought healing and deliverance, proving that no force, no tradition, could stand against the truth and power of God.

“The Silent Believer: A Clergyman’s Awakening to Apostolic Truth”

One of the clergies, after much internal struggle, finally gathered the courage to approach. He waited until one of the meetings had fewer people, ensuring he wouldn’t be easily recognised. Pretending to pass by casually, he seized a moment and discreetly beckoned one of the deacons to join him on the side where he stood, away from the crowd’s gaze.

This was no ordinary clergyman – he was a Pentecostal Holiness preacher, well respected in his circle. With a quiet but determined voice, he confessed, “We, the clergy, have all heard the message the Apostle has preached. Though we listened from the shadows, the echoes of his words are resounding across the land.”

He paused, glancing around to ensure no one was watching too closely. “I believe this message,” he continued, “and I am willing to follow this truth.” His words were heavy with sincerity, reminiscent of Nicodemus, the Pharisee who had come to Jesus under the cover of night, seeking the truth that stirred his soul.

Curiosity flickered in his eyes as he pointed to the photo of the Apostle displayed on the banner. “Tell me,” He asked, “about the halo of light above the Apostle’s head. Is it true? Is this a sign?” The deacon, with calm assurance, explained the supernatural photograph, describing the pillar of fire captured above Apostle Kangwa’s head, a visible sign of God’s presence, much like the biblical times.

The clergyman, struck by the significance, nodded slowly, his expression filled with awe. “Truly,” he said, his voice reverent, “this man is an Apostle. For the pillar of fire is the highest honour God can bestow upon a man.” His heart, once cautious, now brimmed with faith as he recognised the divine seal upon the Apostle’s ministry, a sign that God was moving mightily in their generation. The clergyman, stunned by the undeniable supernatural significance of Apostle Richard Kangwa’s ministry, was now fully ready to become an active member. His transformation from scepticism to conviction marks a profound turning point, as he embraces the call to further the work of God alongside Apostle Kangwa.

“The Legacy of Muyombe: A Testament of God’s Power and Apostolic Triumph”

Muyombe became a haven of salvation, hope, restoration, and deliverance, as though God Himself had shifted His dwelling to this once forgotten land. The Apostle, relentless in his mission to carry the Message to the lost, pressed on. The third day was nothing short of miraculous, with ten (10) souls surrendering their lives to the Lord. Word of what God was doing in Muyombe spread like wildfire, reaching as far as Malawa. People began to inquire, astonished by the undeniable power of God moving through His servant, Apostle Kangwa – something that had never been witnessed in the land before. One woman, overcome with awe, declared, “This man is undeniably a true Apostle. Never in my life have I heard the Word preached with such power and authority. If there is an Apostle, it is surely this man.” And as her words echoed, more people came – even after the meetings had ended – journeying from far places, drawn by the lingering power of God that still stirred hearts. They came, seeking salvation, and the lost found refuge, while the weary discovered comfort, for Jesus of Nazareth had passed through Muyombe.

What had once been a land gripped by bondage had now become a beacon of hope. The stories of what God had done in Muyombe would be told for generations to come, a testimony to His wonders. Through it all, Apostle Kangwa remained untamed by the challenges before him. He had persevered, driven by his love for the Master’s work. Muyombe, once overshadowed by darkness, was now home to Harvest Time Ministry International, where the flag of God’s power waved high. The path to Muyombe bears the footprints of a journey that has left a mark on the sands of time, forever etched in history as a place where God moved mightily through His faithful servant.

A total of one hundred and five (105) souls were converted to the Lord during the meetings held in both Isoka and Muyombe.

*More souls are being converted to this day in both Isoka and Muyombe, as baptism reports continue to come through to the headquarters at Beulah Temple in Ndola. This signifies the ongoing work our Lord has done and continues to do through His servant, Apostle Richard Kangwa, under Harvest Time Ministry International in these end times. The Lord’s eye is on the sparrow, and He cares for our souls.

More reports of healings, deliverances, miracles, and baptisms from other places are coming through to the Harvest Time Ministry International headquarters. To God we give all the praise, honour and glory.
