For two long years, darkness loomed over the life of a little boy and his family. The child, once full of life, had been reduced to a shadow of himself, gripped by the unrelenting claws of severe epileptic seizures. His condition worsened to the point that he could no longer sit upright. Words failed him, food became foreign to him, and even the simplest expressions of life seemed to slip further and further away.

 Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that affects the brain and causes recurrent seizures. A Seizure is a sudden burst of electrical activity in the brain that can temporarily disrupt normal function. Depending on the type and severity of epilepsy, seizures may involve changes in awareness, behaviour, movements, or sensations.

The boy’s mother, a woman of unwavering love and desperation, bore the weight of his suffering in her arms and her heart. He could no longer hold himself upright; his frail body remained lifeless on the floor, wracked with painful groans that pierced through the quiet of their home. His mother’s cries matched his as she lifted him daily, helpless but resolute.

The turning point came when hope knocked at their door. News spread on the radio program that Apostle Richard Kangwa, a servant of the Most High God, was ministering in their area. Clinging to a thread of faith, the mother resolved to bring her son into the prayer line. She carried her lifeless child on her back from home, her steps slow and deliberate, driven by desperation and unwavering belief.

Upon arriving at the church, she gently shifted the boy into her arms and carried him through the crowd. When the prayer line began, she made her way to the altar. As she approached the prayer line, she had to help him walk, holding him up with trembling hands, every step a testament to her faith. The boy’s groans filled the room, a heartbreaking sound of suffering that silenced the crowd.

But then, something extraordinary happened. As the mother placed her son in the prayer line, the painful cries that had defined his existence for months stopped instantly. A hush fell over the gathering, as if the heavens themselves were holding their breath.

The mother, now standing before the Apostle, poured out her heart, detailing the agony her child had endured. Apostle Richard Kangwa, moved with compassion and filled with the authority of God, laid his hands on the boy and prayed. In that sacred moment, the power of God descended like a mighty wind.

The following Sunday, the mother came to church and gave her testimony. The boy, who had been unable to move, speak, or even eat, was now able to move freely on his own. He sat up and even stood on the platform for everyone to see. The crowd erupted in praise, seeing the child who had just been held to walk now standing on his own and fully healed, with tears streaming down some of their faces. The church was overwhelmed by the presence of God, and everyone knew they had witnessed a miracle.

The transformation was so profound, so undeniable, that it not only healed the boy’s body but also touched the hearts of his entire family. That very day, the family surrendered their lives to the Lord. With joy and reverence, they were baptised, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with hope, faith, and the undeniable power of God.

The boy’s miraculous healing stands as a testimony to the divine mercies of God and the anointing upon His servant, Apostle Richard Kangwa. To this day, the family proclaims the goodness of the Lord, their lives forever changed by the touch of His hand.
