Apostle Richard Kangwa was not merely a preacher of the Gospel; he was a father in the faith, a shepherd, a teacher, a revivalist, and a vessel through whom God touched countless lives. His ministry carried a remarkable impact across many people, families, communities, churches, and nations. Through his preaching, prayers, counsel, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to the work of God, many souls were brought to Christ, many lives were restored, and many hearts were strengthened in the faith.

For many years, Apostle Kangwa stood as a faithful servant in the vineyard of the Lord. He preached Christ with conviction, served the people of God with humility, and gave himself fully to the calling placed upon his life. His life was a testimony of devotion, perseverance, spiritual discipline, and love for the Kingdom of God.

He was a man whose ministry went beyond the pulpit. He carried the burdens of the people, prayed for the sick, encouraged the weary, strengthened believers, raised servants, and pointed many to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. His voice, his labour, his counsel, and his example will remain deeply engraved in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted by the words of Scripture:

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”

We also hold firmly to the hope declared by the Apostle Paul:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

— 2 Timothy 4:7

Indeed, Apostle Richard Kangwa fought a good fight. He ran his race with faithfulness. He served his generation according to the will of God. His earthly journey has come to an end, but the fruits of his labour will continue to speak for generations to come.
