Apostle Richard Kangwa and Pastor Nirmal

A Light in the East – This Gift Belongs to the Whole world.

Being a land bathed in ancient tradition, filled with the echoes of sages, kings, and philosophers “India, the vast and vibrant subcontinent, had long been renowned for its deep spiritual heritage. Yet, amidst the colourful tapestry of faiths and rituals, there were those whose hearts sought something more – something divine beyond what their eyes had seen and their ears had heard.

Religion in India is an integral part of the country’s culture and everyday life, contributing to its diversity and complexity. India is home to a wide variety of religions, both indigenous and imported, making it one of the most religiously pluralistic societies in the world. A pagan nation with countless forms and deities representing different aspects of life and nature, Hinduism – estimated to have 33 crore (330 million) gods and goddesses – is the predominant religion in India, comprising about 78.9% of the total population. Other religions, such as Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, and minor religions like Tribal Religions, Zoroastrianism (Parsis), Judaism, and the Bahá’í Faith, also have a presence.

St. Thomas the Apostle: The Faithful Journey and Martyrdom That Sparked Christianity in India

With Christians making up only about 2.3% of India’s population in a country of over 1.4 billion people, the roots of Christianity in India trace back to one of the most remarkable journeys of faith. According to tradition, St. Thomas the Apostle, one of Jesus’ twelve disciples, arrived in India around 52 CE. His mission was nothing short of extraordinary. A tireless and vibrant servant of God, St. Thomas spread the gospel from the coasts of Kerala in the south to the regions of northern India, facing countless hardships.

Despite facing opposition, persecution, and unimaginable difficulties, St. Thomas’ unwavering faith prevailed. His efforts laid the foundation for a lasting Christian presence in India, known today as the Saint Thomas Christians.

St. Thomas met a tragic yet powerful end. Fleeing persecution, he sought refuge by escaping through a narrow passage. He climbed a hill now known as St. Thomas Mount in Chennai, where he kneeled in prayer. It was while praying that he was martyred, struck by a spear. His legacy endures, not just through churches and communities that bear his name, but through the spirit of resilience and devotion that he embodied in the face of adversity.

“The Continuing Journey of Faith”

But the story did not end with St. Thomas the Apostle. Over the centuries, countless others followed, each one testifying to the transforming power of Christ. One such man was William Carey, often called the “Father of Modern Missions.” He did not merely preach; He learnt the local languages and translated the Bible into Bengali, Hindi, and other languages. Then came women of like faith, like Amy Carmichael, whose compassion for the destitute and forgotten became a beacon of light. Her work in South India was more than just humanitarian — it was a testament to Christ’s love for the least of these.

Thereafter came servants of God like the Prophet William Branham, through whom mighty works of the Lord were wrought as a testimony of His power. During the campaigns in India, the servant of God William Branham had a Mount Carmel showdown, as representatives of the great religions of the world were present.

He challenged the priests of Buddhism, Islam, Jainism, Sikhism, and others to restore sight to a man who had been blind for twenty (20) years for he was worshiping the sun. The man was worshiping creation instead of the Creator out of ignorance. The Prophet Branham described the crowd as the quietest he had ever spoken to, as the other religions were challenged to come onto the platform where he stood and restore the blind man’s sight. He promised that if they succeeded, both he and the blind man would join their religion.

However, none of them could rise or make a move. Then the Prophet prayed, and the God of heaven restored the blind man’s sight. Upon witnessing the manifestation of God’s power, thousands were converted to Christianity.”

These servants did not claim any glory for themselves. They knew that the impact they left was not by their might or power, but by the Spirit of God working through them. Today, the footprint of these faithful servants is seen in the vibrant Christian community spread across India.

A brother from India hears about Apostle Richard Kangwa in Uganda

Brother William Nathi, a pastor from India, was introduced by another pastor from Uganda, Pastor Gideon Byekwaso in January 2023. He had a programme with Apostle Kangwa in Kampala, and during that time, Pastor Gideon introduced Pastor Nathi to the Apostle. Later, Pastor Nathi began communicating with the Apostle, and by God’s grace, many discussions took place, spanning from India to Zambia. ‘It’s not just a human relationship between us,’ Pastor Nathi narrated, ‘but I believe it was God’s predestined plan, before the foundation of the world, for me to learn about Harvest Time Ministry International.

During the same convention in Uganda, God worked mightily through His servant, Apostle Kangwa, and many powerful works occurred – healing of the sick, deliverances, salvation of souls, and much more. Pastor Nathi was so impressed that he desired for the Apostle to visit India. Later, Apostle Kangwa invited Pastor Nathi to preach at the special Easter meetings in Ndola, Zambia, which Pastor Nathi gladly accepted.

Pastor Nathi’s Arrival in Zambia for the Special Easter Meetings

Pastor William Nathi arrived in Zambia in April 2023 for the Easter meetings. These meetings were indeed very powerful, and God worked mightily through His servant, Pastor Nathi, who preached in four different temples of Harvest Time Ministry International.

During his visit, Pastor Nathi, now a minister under Harvest Time Ministry International, had significant moments with the Apostle, the servant of the Lord.

Pastor William Nathi, reflecting on his experience, shared his deep admiration for Apostle Richard Kangwa: ‘I have met many preachers, pastors, and various office-holders in the ministry of God throughout my life, but I have never encountered anyone like Apostle Richard Kangwa. He is a truly God-fearing and Holy Ghost-filled, gifted man of God sent for our generation. The respect he shows me and the way he speaks to me make me feel as though he is like a father to me. He is an incredibly down-to-earth, kind-hearted, and humble man of God. I respect him because he respects God, and I love him because he prioritizes God in his life. The way God is using him in Harvest Time Ministry International is not just through words, but is clearly vindicated by the Word of God and His power.

*I call Apostle Kangwa a God-fearing and very prayerful man in Christ, who devotes his time and life to God. That’s why God has blessed him so mightily, giving him a powerful ministry that I have witnessed with my own eyes. It’s not something I heard from others; I am a witness to what God is doing through Apostle Richard Kangwa and his ministry. I can confidently say that he is a Spirit-filled man of God in our generation.

“A Ministry Marked by Divine Presence”

Pastor William Nathi shared his profound experiences with Harvest Time Ministry, saying: “Harvest Time Ministry is not a man-made ministry; it is fulfilled and vindicated by the Pillar of Fire. Wherever Apostle Richard Kangwa has established congregations, God has proven Himself — not just through people’s visitations, but by visiting in the form of the Pillar of Fire. This has confirmed that the ministry is powerful and divinely inspired throughout Zambia. Now, God has extended its reach globally. I have felt God moving in action, and many people were healed instantly by the prayers of Apostle Richard Kangwa. God continues to vindicate him day by day.”

“Beyond Titles, It’s About a Life in Christ”

Pastor Nathi continued, “Many people in the world call themselves apostles and prophets. But what we need today is not just a title from the Bible—it’s a life that reflects the Word of God. The Bible tells us that God will use those who live according to His Word. I have seen this in Apostle Kangwa. I came to Zambia to witness his ministry, Harvest Time, firsthand. Throughout my life, I have visited many countries and preached in various locations, but my experience in April 2023 transformed my life as I witnessed the glory of God through Harvest Time Ministry International in Ndola and Lusaka.”

“Apostle Kangwa: A Modern-Day Apostle”

Reflecting on his journey, Pastor Nathi said, “I have preached alongside Apostle Kangwa in various locations, and wherever we went, there was an undeniable anointing. God’s Holy Spirit was present, confirming everything through the preaching of the Word and prayer. This experience has been profound. I can’t fully express it in words, but I give all the glory to Almighty God for bringing Apostle Kangwa into my life. Meeting him face to face felt like meeting one of the apostles from the Bible, such as Paul or Peter. The same anointing I have read about in the disciples of Jesus is present in Apostle Kangwa.”

“A Vessel Chosen for Our Time”

Pastor Nathi continued to express his reverence: “This experience has brought me closer to God. I no longer see Apostle Kangwa as just an ordinary man, but as God’s chosen vessel for this generation. In an evil age, a Sodomic world, God has raised up a man in Africa, in Zambia, and is sending him to the nations. I am thankful to God for Apostle Kangwa, and I am privileged and honoured to be his friend, brother, or even son from India. Now, he has extended Harvest Time Ministry International to India, and I am deeply honoured to be part of this ministry.”

“A Global Ministry with Divine Standards”

With heartfelt sincerity, Pastor Nathi shared his observations: “My heart is full of testimonies. I am an eyewitness to how God is proving Himself day by day in every service I have attended with Apostle Kangwa. The believers connected to Harvest Time Ministry have a deep appreciation for it. Harvest Time Ministry upholds its own divine standards. It is not a man-made religion or a plan derived from human opinion. This ministry is God-proven for the entire world in this generation.”

“God’s Presence Manifested in Harvest Time Ministry”

Pastor Nathi further narrates: “While preaching in different locations, I have witnessed the glory of God descending upon the people. It is clear that God is with and in His servant, Apostle Kangwa. God is no longer invisible; He is visible in Harvest Time Ministry. There are many ministries around the world, but my testimony is this: anyone who encounters Harvest Time Ministry International will experience the real Pentecostal worship and Spirit. Just as the Holy Spirit came down on the Day of Pentecost, the same Holy Ghost is now present in Harvest Time Ministry in the form of the Pillar of Fire. This is my testimony, and I am an eyewitness to it.”

“A Manifestation of God’s Glory”

Pastor William Nathi continued to describe his experiences: “In every service, there was a visible manifestation of God’s glory. I saw with my own eyes how people were healed, delivered, and blessed through the ministry of Apostle Richard Kangwa. There is something supernatural about the way God moves through him — it’s undeniable. Wherever we went, people flocked to hear the Word, and God confirmed His presence through signs, wonders, and miracles. I witnessed firsthand how God’s power touched the lives of so many, leaving an indelible mark on my heart.”

“A Revival for Our Generation”

“Apostle Kangwa’s ministry is not just for Zambia; it is for the world. I believe that through Harvest Time Ministry International, God is igniting a global revival. The anointing upon Apostle Kangwa is truly rare in our time. It’s a reminder that God is still working today, just as He did in the days of the apostles. The same Spirit, the same power, and the same Word are moving mightily. I have never seen such a demonstration of God’s power and authority as I have witnessed in this ministry. Apostle Kangwa is truly a servant chosen for this generation.”

“A Call to Follow the Footsteps of a Righteous Man”

Pastor William Nathi continued to express his deep admiration for Apostle Richard Kangwa:
“To all the listeners in Zambia and beyond, it’s a privilege in my life to have met Apostle Richard Kangwa. I never expected to meet such a fantastic and faithful servant of God — a sincere man of God and a humble Apostle of Christ. He is not a man who seeks to please people; he is a man who seeks to please God in every aspect of his life. My last words to everyone, including Harvest Time Ministry International followers, believers, and listeners, whoever you may be: stay united with Apostle Kangwa as he follows Christ. Follow him, follow the footsteps of this righteous man. Stay close to him, respect him, respect his ministry, and listen to him.

“Whatever God decides to speak to you, He will use the channel of His servant in Zambia through Harvest Time Ministry, and that servant is none other than Apostle Richard Kangwa.”

“A Global Community United in Christ”

Pastor Nathi further encouraged believers around the world to seek the truth for themselves: “May God give you the grace, understanding, and revelation to know more about Harvest Time Ministry International. Even from India, I stand with you, and there are believers from Dubai, Kuwait, Pakistan, Israel, and especially Sri Lanka, as well as cities like Chennai, Mumbai, and New Delhi. This is what God is doing — it is the season for every one of you to come and witness the glory of God. Come and experience it firsthand. Don’t rely on someone else’s stories, or on the lies and misconceptions of others. Come, see for yourself, and experience the glory of God in Harvest Time Ministry International with Apostle Richard Kangwa.”

“A Blessing to All Nations”

In conclusion, Pastor Nathi remarked: “I bless you all, and may God grant you grace and mercy to remain faithful until the day of the Rapture. May God give you the power and anointing to continue walking in His light,”

“The Invitation to India: A Move of Faith”

Pastor Nathi was deeply moved by his experiences in Zambia. Though he had been to 23 countries before, never had God used him in such a mighty way as He did in Zambia under Harvest Time Ministry International. After witnessing the incredible outpouring of God’s Spirit there, Pastor Nathi knew that the people of India needed to experience the same move of God.

Pastor William Nathi was so convinced of the servant of the Lord that he never hesitated to spread the good news to his brethren back home in India. Upon realising that God had raised a man in Zambia, vindicated with the mighty Pillar of Fire and accompanied by wonders, miracles, signs, and the gift of the Holy Ghost, 720 preachers in India were persuaded and signed biodata pledging full allegiance to follow Apostle Richard Kangwa of Zambia, based in Ndola under Harvest Time Ministry International.

Three months later, he and other Indian church leaders extended a personal invitation to Apostle Kangwa to come and preach in India at special meetings. It was a step of faith, but Pastor Nathi was confident that God was leading him to bring this powerful ministry to his homeland. He was 1014% sure that the same miracles, signs, and wonders he had seen in Zambia would begin to manifest in India. He anticipated that many would be healed, lives would be transformed, people would be delivered, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Nathi was certain that the ministry that began in Zambia would touch many lives in India.

“God’s Hand in India: Apostle Kangwa’s Visit”

Apostle Richard Kangwa and his beloved wife, Sister Kangwa, arrived in India on July 11, 2023, and were received at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad, Hyderabad. They were warmly welcomed by Pastor William Nathi, along with other pastors and saints. The Apostle had long desired to visit India to preach, eagerly awaiting for the Lord and Master to grant him the grace for this opportunity. By the grace of the Lord of Heaven, this journey was made possible, and to His glory, we give praise.

When Apostle Kangwa arrived in India, it was as though the heavens opened. The same Pillar of Fire that always accompanies the servant of the Lord accompanied him to India. As he preached, people were delivered from sicknesses, and many were saved. God’s hand was evident in every meeting. The ministry that began in Zambia is now expanding globally.

“Witnessing the Hand of God: Apostle Kangwa’s Global Expansion into India”

It was an honour to witness this move of God firsthand. Seeing the same anointing and power in India that is present in Zambia affirmed that God’s calling on Apostle Kangwa’s life is truly international. God moved mightily through His servant, and this journey became one of the most significant spiritual experiences for many, as they were brought closer to God in diverse places. From the bustling heart of New Delhi, where ancient traditions meet modern dynamism, to the serene spiritual quiet of Chennai, the Apostle’s message resonated deeply. In Rajahmundry, by the sacred waters of the Godavari River, the power of God flowed like a mighty current. The lively streets of Vijayawada witnessed an outpouring of divine healing, while the peaceful town of Tenali became a haven for those seeking salvation. In Hyderabad, the Apostle’s message reverberated among a rich tapestry of cultures, touching hearts across the city. The lives of those who encountered this ministry were forever changed, as God’s presence made each city a testament to His boundless grace.

Unyielding Faith: Apostle Kangwa’s Mission to Preach Amidst India’s Idolatry

The servant of the Lord preached with great fervor, tirelessly traveling from one town in the morning to another by evening, labouring each day with immense dedication. He understood the urgency of imparting God’s abundant power — healing, salvation, deliverance, and the gift of the Holy Ghost — to believers who were desperate and hungry for the truth. Confronted by the overwhelming idolatry in the land, from the worship of cow gods openly in the streets to the revered monkey god, Hanuman (whom the Apostle boldly referred to as the ‘Makaka god’), he pressed on. Even when required to wear a plain shirt without a tie in certain places, out of disdain or rejection of Christianity, the servant remained undeterred. Yet, he would later put on a suit when it was time to preach. He was resolute, giving all glory and honour to the Lord Jesus Christ, standing firm in his mission despite the cultural challenges around him.

The power of the devil was brought to an abrupt halt as the overwhelming presence of God’s power was felt in every place the Apostle visited. Deliverance swept across the land like a mighty wind, and demons, unable to resist or withstand the force of the Almighty, manifested and were cast out. They were forced into submission under the authority of the one true God, who reigned supreme in every meeting, leaving no room for darkness to prevail.

“A Sacred Encounter: Apostle Kangwa’s Visit to the Martyrdom Site of St. Thomas”

The humble servant of the Lord, along with his wife, visited the sacred place where St. Thomas once fled before his martyrdom. They knelt in reverence and prayed at the very spot, deeply moved by the experience. The Apostle later described the moment as one that leaves a lasting impact, realizing the profound legacy St. Thomas left behind. Despite being martyred for bringing the true Gospel of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ to a land steeped in idolatry, his courageous efforts have paved the way for the truth to flourish in the hearts of many.

Apostle Kangwa preaching at the convention in India

The Apostle continued his journey, visiting additional places in Punjab, such as Amritsar, Makhu, and Gurdaspur — the land known for its vibrant culture and resilient spirit. In Amritsar, home to the Golden Temple, a city where faith runs deep, the message of the Gospel stirred hearts in profound ways. Each location provided a new opportunity to spread the truth of Christ and touch the lives of those seeking spiritual awakening. In Makhu, a quiet town where traditions blend with faith, and in Gurdaspur, known for its strong sense of community, Through Apostle Kangwa, God poured out many blessings upon the people. Miracles and testimonies followed, all to His glory, leaving an everlasting mark on the hearts of the Punjabi people.”

Testimony of Pastor Nirmal Masih

Praise the Lord, my dear saints in Zambia, in the beloved Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am Pastor Nirmal Masih, and I live in Makhu, Punjab. I first received this life-changing message in 2002, and by the grace of God, I began this ministry in my hometown of Makhu in 2012. I extend my special greetings to Apostle Richard Kangwa, the guest pastors, and all those who have gathered for this glorious international harvest convention. Though I was invited by Apostle Kangwa to join you, due to visa issues, I was unable to attend. But if the Lord wills, I look forward to coming next time.

In my ten years of ministry, last August was the most extraordinary month I have ever experienced. God granted me the immense honour of hosting a man of God, Apostle Richard Kangwa. Apostle Kangwa arrived in Amritsar on August 1st, 2023, and from August 2nd, we began the ministry meetings. Many ministers gathered, and Apostle Kangwa delivered a powerful, soul-stirring message. On that same day, the Apostle conducted a prayer line, and I witnessed ministers receive healing. From August 3rd to 14th, we held large open meetings every evening, with two Sunday services. In total, we organized 15 meetings across different areas of Punjab, and people gathered in great numbers to hear the Word of God.

In each meeting, prayer lines were formed for the sick, afflicted, and those possessed by demon spirits. With profound patience and deep compassion, Apostle Kangwa prayed for every afflicted soul. I personally witnessed the mighty Hand of God moving through the Apostle. People were instantly delivered from demonic oppression, and miraculous testimonies poured in – skin tumours were healed, women who had struggled to conceive were blessed with children, and even those with cancer gave testimonies of their healing. It was truly awe-inspiring to see the power of God at work through the Apostle’s ministry.

Wherever I go in Punjab now, people are constantly sharing with me the miracles they experienced through Apostle Kangwa’s ministry. The testimonies are endless — God’s touch has reached so many lives. Apostle Richard Kangwa is truly a humble man of God, filled with love and a heart for healing. Even when I couldn’t provide the best accommodations or food, he and his team accepted everything graciously, enduring all with patience and love.

This past August will remain one of the most remarkable months in my entire ministry. In my twenty years of preaching the Message, it was the first time we organized prayer lines in Punjab, and God’s miraculous power was demonstrated through the Apostle’s ministry. It was clear to all that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Now, everyone is asking when Apostle Richard Kangwa will return. They all bear witness to his powerful ministry, testifying that he is indeed a man of God. I, too, look forward to when the Lord permits him to return, and by His grace, I hope to meet you all face to face. May God bless you.
